Hidden gem for Charlotte. Everyone needs to go here an experience the amazing staff and great, fresh food. Love it. Have not eaten anything here I haven't liked. Pineapple Lemonade is a must!

Shakes are not the best but its roots are, burgers and fries are great! Hope this stays in Derita North Carolina for years to come, like the fire station in Derita and the Derita post office it harkens back to the town it once was..........

I have to say how upset I am with myself that this place is so close to my job and yet I don't go often lol. Had a burger fixed to order with all the toppings I wanted and it was sooooo good. And got a strawberry pineapple lemonade to wash it down. Let me tell you, their lemonade selection is top tier and this is coming from someone who's ALWAYS gets a sweet tea everywhere I go, so if I switch it up for lemonade trust me when I say it's amazing! The young lady behind the counter taking orders was literally prob one of the sweetest people I've ever encountered. She just exuded positive energy and man do I love to see that, especially in the service industry. There is no seating, just a walk up window, so can enjoy your meal in your car or if can find a park nearby even better. All I know I am going to make them a regular lunch stop!

Staff are one of the friendliest people in Charlotte and their food is simple and satisfying. They put a lot of love in their cooking and shows in everything they make. I will come back soon with friends since it's close to where I work. This place gets my official seal of approval.

Cute lil corner spot located at the end of a shopping center, I have probably passed this place a thousand times and never saw it! So glad I was given the opportunity to try it. I pulled up & hopped out the car to wait at the window out front to order. I was thankful they were able to swap my burger for a chicken sandwich since I don't eat beef. I had asked for the veggie burger in the place of the burgers but they had ran out of veggie patties before the winter storm hit. The nice lady at the window suggested I get the mambo sauce on my chicken sandwich and I love a good suggestion so I ran with that. I decided on the Derita Sunrise which is their pineapple lemonade with strawberries and a splash of grenadine and fries on the side. After ordering I sat in my car with the window cracked so I could hear when my name was called to pick up my food at the pick up window. The chicken sandwich was delicious and I loved the mambo sauce, it was a great choice! Can't wait to go back and try them again!

I was passing through Charlotte on the freeway- I had seen a picture of the crab fries online in a Facebook group so I wanted to try them. My son and I had the best food we've had in forever- I had a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato and crab fries, he had the same sandwich with the cheddar bacon ranch fries. Everything was perfect. The service was outstanding and warm. It's family run and you can tell- all handmade and just delicious. Crab fries, y'all.

Let’s just say the hot honey chicken sandwich is bomb!! I literally considered turning around after I ordered to get another one! 5 star all for the chicken sandwich! Fries were not good but next time I’ll get a side salad.
